The same gardens, the same specialists
If you knew us as Brightwater Holidays, welcome to Specialist Journeys. Our name has changed, but the expertise and care behind your holidays remain.
Brightwater began as a Scotland specialist, and Scotland remains at the heart of our holidays. From the Highlands and Hebrides to Orkney and Shetland, you can still explore its landscapes, history and island life with the specialist knowledge and personal service you know us for.
The gardens and historic houses you love are still here too, with thoughtfully planned itineraries and Tour Managers who stay with you throughout your holiday.
Your existing booking remains unchanged.
What has changed
Brightwater Holidays and Andante Travels have come together under the Specialist Journeys name. That means the Scotland, garden, historic house and archaeology holidays you came for, now with an even wider archaeology programme and more opportunities to explore ancient history in depth, drawing on Andante’s specialist expertise.
Find the holidays you know and love
The holidays you know from Brightwater now sit within our Classic collection, including gardens, historic houses, archaeology, rail and steam, and wildlife and nature.
Scotland also has a section of its own, covering the Highlands, the Lowlands and Borders, the Hebrides, and Orkney and Shetland.
