Trekking typically involves walking over several consecutive days, often through more remote terrain and sometimes at altitude. Distances and difficulty depend on the route.

You’ll need to be comfortable walking on consecutive days over the distances and terrain described. Each itinerary carries an activity level and sets out daily distances, ascent and conditions underfoot, so you can assess the demands before booking.

More than for a day walk, and each itinerary provides a kit list. Properly worn-in boots, layers and reliable waterproofs are the essentials.
